The Tape Face Tapes- Tellyland record
Hello there,
We have been working on a very fun project and now is your chance to be involved.
The Silent Ones Group have already had the details but now it’s time for everybody to get in on it!
We are making a pilot for a Tape Face television show and we are now onto the part of the show that is set in a comedy club and we are looking for an audience of people who are interested in comedy and know a bit about live shows rather than just renting an audience.
We will be filming at Hoxton Hall on the 25th of February.
Hoxton Hall
130 Hoxton street
London
N1 6SH
Show starts 7.30pm – finished by 9:00pm (we hope)
So we would need you there by 7pm at latest to guarantee entry.
This will be a R18 event.
If you are interested in being there send an email to….
no message is required and if you require another ticket we need you to get that person to send an email as well
We will send out an email later on this week to those who make contact.
Please only send an email if you can 100% make it on the night.
This will be fun indeed.
The End of 2011
Well it has been a very exciting year for The Boy indeed…

Edinburgh Festival rocked another year
played the Royal Albert Hall with orchestra backing
a sold out tour of the UK
performed at The Royal Variety Show
and did a stack of gigs in between.
plans for 2012 include….
another tour of Tape Face for the UK
A pilot for the BBC
Edinburgh festival with a brand new show, More Tape
a tour of More Tape in the UK
development of the third show
might sniff around the West End
and will no doubt do a few gigs in the gaps.
Look forward to seeing you at a show and thank you all for supporting this strange little show.

Last chance to see The Boy for 2011
The 2011 tour has now finished but there is still a couple of shows left where you can catch The Boy and you could be part of the audience that get a sneak peak at the 2012 show! Click on the pictures to get the details.
and for those of you who are keen on a little trip to the Seaside. The Boy and The Diva aka Lili la Scala are performing a double bill where she will be singing funny vintage songs and The Boy will be performing a preview of the second Tape Face Show – More Tape! A whole new hour of silent comedy antics!
2012 Tour now Onsale
We are now at the end of the 2011 tour of Tape Face 1 and that can mean only a couple of things.
One is that it means the final tour show at the Arosa Festival is coming up soon, so a circus tent up a mountain covered in snow is a great way to end a tour!
Two is that we are very pleased to announce that due to public demand we will be hitting the road in 2012 for the spring tour of “The Boy with Tape on His Face”
This will possible be the final time we will be touring the UK with the first show as we are currently fine tuning the “second show” and getting it super sorted for Edinburgh 2012 and then we will be sending T2 out onto the road to entertain even more people a whole new show full of silent comedy antics.
Full tour listings are on the gigs page so click there and see if we are playing near you! If we are not the drop us a line and we will see what we can do for you in the next tour.
The Royal Variety Performance 2011
It is with a lot of excitement to share that The Boy will be appearing in this years Royal Variety Performance! This is one of those shows that will be really special and The boy is beyond excited to say the least.
Photos will be posted from the rehearsal and we will do our best to get behind the scenes on the night.
Good times.
Tweet Tweet Tweet
Hello,
Well I suppose it is about time I told everybody about what is coming up! I am very excited!!
The Boy is lucky enough to be working with the BBC and a lovely company called Smesh who have built a huge wall that shows off tweets from people
You can see in this picture A lovely comedian called Phill Ellis, He will be a part of the show as well, but if you look above him you will see a massive tweet on a screen and this is what I would like you to have on the night.
Your tweet will take center stage!
We are going to be having a Quiz show with of about 300 people tweeting in answers to questions but I don’t want you to miss out on the wall so just before the show starts I will tweet out some pictures of some props and then during the show I will tweet out again asking you for suggestions. Most of these suggestions will be for us to “do” something to Phill and we will then do our best to deliver the goods back to you!
The show takes place on the 9th of November at 8:00pm but I will be tweeting more from the venue that day showing you stuff as we build it and get ready.
I do hope that you have an hour to spare tweeting in some suggestions and I look forward to seeing what happens onstage.
More updates will be coming along on twitter where you can find me as @tapefaceboy
See you at the show!

The Royal Albert Hall.
I recently got to be a part of the first Comedy Proms at The Royal Albert Hall. I think this will be a show that I will remember for quite a while..
I was also asked to play drums for another part of The Proms and secretly carried a camera in my top pocket, the footage will be with The Silent Ones in the next couple of days. It’s very strange and kind creepy.
The Fringe has ended but everything else keeps going!
The 2011 Fringe has come to a close but a world of odds and end keep ticking along! The 2011 tour is about to get underway and please keep your photos of yourself “not” being the boy as plans are coming together for this as well.
The comedy Proms was a big success and the coverage we got during the fringe has made even more people of this strange Boy with Tape lurking in the UK.
Will get some more news in a bit but now The Boy needs to smell a cup of coffee.
Another lot of greetings
Hello to you all and a very special hello to the recent people who have joined up with “The Silent Ones”
As you can imagine with the Edinburgh Festival shows in full swing, a very special sneak preview of Tape Face 2 -More Tape and having the chance to do some more work with the BBC! The Boy has been a little over worked to keep on top of the up dates but He is making the time and promises to show you some of the behind the scenes world that The Boy lives in.
